Elevator Technical & Training Associates LLC is a support and information service provider to the elevator industry started by Kevin Heling in September of 2022. etta is provides new technology training and support focusing on category testing of elevators. Kevin is also available for technical consultation of specific elevator components. His first “retirement” was in August of 2022 after 10 years in business development and technically supporting the elevator industry in various ways for 37 years. He has taught credit-approved classes for NAESA International, OEM's, NAEC, Elevator U and IAEC. He has experience with elevator tools and technology, suspension means broadly and in particular (elevator ropes, belts and steel cables), traveling and flexible/stationary cables and related electrical-installation components. He writes articles in Elevator World on technical topics, including Continuing Education pieces. A while ago, in 1984, he earned an MS in Industrial Relations from the University of Wisconsin and prior to that a degree in Journalism.
