| Greg Sacks, the owner of Superior Elevator Inspections and Consulting, has acquired 40 years of experience and expertise in the elevator industry dating back to 1982. He started out as an installation and service mechanic. In 1997, he began his own elevator installation and service company until deciding to venture into the inspection and consulting area of the elevator industry. In 2003, he founded Superior Elevator Inspections and Consulting, after obtaining his Qualified Elevator Inspector (QEI) certification. In 2008, he obtained his QEI-Supervisor certification. In addition, Greg has worked as an independent contractor on an as-needed basis for FEMA, specializing in the assessment of elevators damaged by natural disasters, having worked extensively in New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina. Greg holds valid State inspector licenses in MO, IL and TX. In addition, Greg has provided consulting services over the last 15 years and expert witness services for the last 7 years. He received the Qualified Elevator Consultant (QEC) certification through IAEC in 2020. |
